[This section sort of semi-updated in summer 2010]

"The Secret Language of Subways" CD -- featuring The Cello ChiXtet -- is out and about. Find it at MinMax Music, amazon, CD Baby, itunes, and elsewhere. Distributed by Starkland.

2010 commisions include a piece for violinist Kate Stenberg, works for the ChiXtet reflecting a San Francsico Symphony concert of Berg and Beethoven (for their After-Hours series), a site-specific choral work for the Pacific Mozart Ensemble, and a string quartet for Del Sol.

Amy and Solstice vocal ensmeble plan to record Amy's "Fill as Desired" song cycle some time in early 2011. The work is based loosely on recipes collected by women of the Terezin concentration camp, combined with Amy's texts on fantasy as a form of survival.

Amy is slowly beginning work on her next large-scale song cycle "We belong to the accident" -- for vocal ensemble, chamber instruments and live electronics -- inspired by Amy's experiences traveling abroad, and sung in multiple languages. In development over the next couple of years.

Yes! Amy does plan to finish editing that video from the '06 solo performance at The Oakland Metro!
